Important Information from Contenido Movil Americas I The debut of Contenido Movil Americas drew some impressive figures. Consider the following:
Almost half of the attendees at CMA I represented US based companies, although Mexico had the second largest contingent from Latin America. Brazil had the largest attendance from South America, followed by Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina. The visitors from around the world demonstrate the strength of the Latin American market and the interest in it -- attendees were looking for Latin American content to sell in their home country as well as a way to sell their content in Latin America.
A high proportion of attendees at CMA I were in decision-making positions within their companies. In addition to CEOs and Presidents there were a large number of regional and country managers and executives in charge of major segments, such as a company's entire mobile operations. Of those attending, 13 had titles indicating they were in charge of deciding which content to offer through their service.
Companies by Sector:
At CMA I there were representatives from 140 companies, including a large number of content aggregators and content portals from across Latin America in attendance. There were also leading decision makers from numerous mobile operators across the region. Around a quarter of attendees were from companies offering solutions to improve the creation, distribution or payments for mobile content, as well as 'white label' services.
